This 1" one piece forged heavy duty tie rod assembly adds double the strength compared to stock, and the inner tie rod is actually 30% larger than stock. There are lots of options to choose from when buying upgraded factory replacement tie rods for your truck. CST tie rods are easy to install with no spindle or steering center link modifications required, unlike some of the Heim jointed tie rod kits you will find out there. Heim jointed tie rod replacement kits tend to change the factory pivot locations as well, where the CST Extreme Duty Tie Rod will not alter factory steering pivot locations from stock. This is a must have upgrade, especially for vehicles with 33" tall tires or bigger.
